While it seems that Glen Marais’ water had been restored on Tuesday night, Kempton’s water woes have now moved to another area.
Ward councillor Jaco Terblanche on Wednesday morning said Kempton Park extensions, Aston Manor and Nimrod Park up to Tulbagh Street were without water this morning.
It is not known at this stage what the problem is, he said, as he was not aware of any burst pipes in the area.
The four-day water outage in sections of Glen Marais was caused by a burst pipe in the vlei area at Goodies for Gardens, he added.
Kempton Express sent an enquiry to the metro on Tuesday morning, asking for urgent comment regarding Glen Marais’ water issues. We are still waiting.
