Investor summit to be hosted by the metro

Several civic office developments in Germiston and Kempton Park are being planned.

The City of Ekurhuleni will host a public-private partnership investor summit at Emperors Palace on December 5.

The summit is another quest by the City to marshal all resources to become the foremost leader in African infrastructural development and economic growth.

The summit will put government and the private sector in one room with the aim of partnering to design, finance, build, operate and maintain several civic office developments in Germiston and Kempton Park.

Business leaders, government officials, investors and fund-raisers will attend the summit as well as an exhibition, which will be followed by a bus tour for 200 delegates and media the next day. Investors will get an opportunity to see the proposed developments and engage City officials on any related matters.

The aim of the City is to officially launch the proposed developments and showcase the project proposals, which are part of the City’s aim to re-urbanise as part of its growth and development strategy.
