A joint operation, held on Friday, between Kempton Park SAPS and the metro police, led to the recovery of two vehicles.
“During the operation, officers received a tip-off of two suspicious-looking vehicles on Constellation Street in Rhodesfield,” said Capt Jethro Mtshali, spokesperson for Kempton Park SAPS.
“Officers located the vehicles and upon inspection and investigation it was discovered the vehicles, a Toyota Yaris and a BMW, were reported stolen in Ivory Park in Tembisa and Sophiatown in Johannesburg respectively.”
Two suspects, aged 22 and 25, were arrested on charges of possession of suspected stolen motor vehicles.
