Municipal offices will be closed from December 24 and will reopen on January 2.
However, the City of Ekurhuleni’s 24-hour community health care centres will continue operating throughout the festive season.
Primary health care clinics that operate during normal working hours will only be open between December 27 and 28 from 8am to 4.30pm.
Ekurhuleni residents can continue to enjoy the convenience of the City’s extended hours health care programme, as 28 clinics across Ekurhuleni are already part of the 24-hour health care provision programme.
Prepaid units for electricity can still be bought from the various vendors during this time and the online platforms are available to view and pay accounts online on www.e-siyakhokha.co.za.
