The suspects are still at large.

Festival Mall management confirmed on Friday that the Pick n Pay on its premises was robbed at gunpoint by five armed suspects on Thursday evening.

They took a bag from a cashier, which Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson, Const Dipuo Ditshego, confirmed had around R1 400 inside. “The suspects are still at large,” Ditshego told Express.

According to spokesperson for the centre, Lee-Anne Da Silva, no one was injured.

She said centre management had footage of the incident and was working closely with the police to apprehend the suspects.
