An alleged dagga peddler in possession of 61 Zip-Lock bags of dagga was arrested at a barber shop on West Street on Saturday.
Chief Supt Wilfred Kgasago, metro police spokesperson, said at 9.30am, EMPD Equestrian Unit members arrested the male suspect at the entrance of the barber shop.
The man’s suspicious conduct caught the eye of the vigilant metro police who decided to approach him. Upon searching the barber shop, the dagga valued at over R1 000 were uncovered.
The 31-year old male suspect was arrested and detained at Kempton Park Police Station on charges of possession and dealing in dagga.
