Chloorkop theft suspect hands himself over to Norkem Park SAPS

Suspect turned himself in following an alleged theft in Chloorkop.

Following an alleged wallet theft at a Chloorkop shop on Tuesday last week, a 54-year-old man handed himself over to police on Wednesday last week.

“The suspect handed himself over at 11.30am after he received a message that he was wanted for questioning in a case of an alleged theft at Trig Distributors,” said Capt Lesibana Molokomme, spokesperson for Norkem Park SAPS.

The suspect was notified by people who saw the article on Kempton Express’ website that he was wanted for questioning.

According to Molokomme, the suspect pretended the wallet belonged to him. He will appear in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court to face a charge of theft.
