
A 28-year-old man was arrested by police on April 2 for murder.
On March 30 the police were called to the scene of a murder in Enhlazeni section.
On arrival, they found a man lying in the pool of blood. The man had an open wound to his upper body. Paramedics were called and declared him dead on scene. The member of the community who identified the deceased told police he had seen the suspect and he can identify him.
On April 1 the station commander, Col Nthipe Lazarus Boloka, received information about the whereabouts of the suspect. He immediately organised members from Tembisa South Police Station to look for the suspect.
He was found walking on the street, was arrested and detained at the Tembisa South Police Station cells. He will be appearing in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court soon to face a charge of murder.
