Woman held at gunpoint in Birch Acres home

After five months, the suspect is still at large.

A Birch Acres house break-in suspect is still at large, five months after he held a homeowner at gunpoint in Modumela Street

According to Capt Lesibana Molokomme, spokesperson for Norkem Park SAPS, the woman was surprised to find her front door open when she returned home at 12.30pm.

“Inside she was met by the suspect, who held her at gunpoint and instructed her to sit down and keep quiet,” Molokomme told Express.

The suspect allegedly searched the house but left the premises without taking anything.
