Five suspects were arrested for possession of drugs on April 12 and 13 at various areas in the Kempton Park CBD.
The suspects were arrested during Kempton Park SAPS’ crime prevention patrols.

“Upon arrival, officers found a 30-year-old suspect and asked to search the property and discovered different types of drugs, including crack cocaine, nyaope and Cat. Police also found brand new cellphones and wrist watches, but the suspect could not provide proof of purchase.”
The suspect was also arrested for possession of suspected stolen goods.
A 22-year-old suspect was also arrested on charges of possession of drugs later that day on the corner of West and Oak streets after being searched during patrols.
Another suspect was arrested for possession of drugs at Heritage Pub on West Street while another, a 23-year-old, was for interfering with police.
