Huge parts of Kempton Park have been without electricity since 4.20am on Monday morning.
Although the City has confirmed knowledge of the outage, now turnaround time has been made available.
The metro police have dispatched several traffic officials to various busy intersections to assist with peak hour traffic.
Many roads are heavily congested. The only little light in the tunnel is that the traffic lights at the intersections of Kelvin and Pretoria Road, as well as Pretoria Road and CR Swart Drive are functioning.
