The sexual assault case against the principal of an unregistered school on Voortrekker Road had been postponed to July 12.
The school, which was run from a one-bedroom flat, had since been shut down.
The suspect appeared in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday where his bail application was abandoned and the case was postponed to July 3.
The reason for the second postponement was due to his attorney not being present in court.
The matter has been hard on the victim’s family. Her parents had been attending all court appearances and said they were still saddened by the incident.

“This is really not easy on us, especially on our daughter,” said the victim’s mother.
“She has since been going for counseling and you can see the strain it has on her. It is very hard to deal with this; sometimes I battle to sleep at night and stay awake the whole night thinking and crying about it.
“My daughter is hurting and together with her dad, we try very hard to help her through it. Although we have found another school for her, we wonder if she would be able to complete and pass her matric.
“I pray that justice prevails and I pray to God to give us strength and pull us through this time.”
