Two months after potholes were fixed in Birchleigh, the rubble still lies on the site of the street.
Pieter Heymans of Birchleigh said the metro’s contractors were commissioned to fix potholes in the area in April. Although the damage to Ebbe Street had been fixed, the rubble is yet to be removed.
Heymans told Express he phoned the metro to request a time frame for when the rubble would be removed. He was told it should be gone within two weeks.
Heymans received a reference number for his complaint on May 7 but had no feedback.
Heymans confirmed on Thursday that the rubble had still not been removed as promised and he was still waiting on feedback.
The metro did not reply to questions sent by Kempton Express.
