Water to areas including Glen Marais, Aston Manor, Nimrod Park and Kempton extentions should be restored at 4pm on Saturday following four pipe bursts during the night.
According to ward councillor Jaco Terblanche bursts occurred on Venter Street, corner of Highveld and Monument, corner of Monument and Aberfeldy and Fiskaal Street.
He said the metro would investigate the valves they believe are causing the pipes to burst.
