A 39-year-old man was arrested and charged with murder for allegedly killing his girlfriend’s new lover.
Tembisa SAPS spokesperson Capt Manyadza Ralidzhivha said the incident happened on Sunday night in Emkhatsini Section.
“Allegations are that the suspect went to the house of his 56-year-old girlfriend. Upon arrival, he found the girlfriend drinking and celebrating her birthday with the new boyfriend, a 74-year-old.
“The suspect started accusing the victim of stealing his girlfriend and without any provocation he pulled out a sharp object and fatally stabbed the victim, who died on the scene. The suspect was later traced and arrested,” explained Ralidzhivha.
