An emergency water supply interruption will affect certain suburbs on Sunday evening from 7pm to around midnight.
A new valve installed during Thursday’s shutdown was disturbed by a car which drove over it early on Sunday morning at the corner of Park and Langenhoven streets in the central business district.
Kempton Park CBD, Glen Marais, Aston Manor, Nimrod Park, Allen Grove, part of Pomona and Bredell will have low to no water pressure.
Water tankers will be located at the corner of Park and Central; Glen Marais at Glen Acres Shopping Centre; Cavendish Glen Shopping Centre; corner of Kerk and Monument; Bredell corner of 3rd and 6th road.
