Three Nigerian men were arrested on Long Street on Wednesday morning following two separate drug busts in which drugs worth more than R1.1-million were seized.
EMPD spokesperson Kobeli Mokheseng said following up a complaint at 5am, metro police officers apprehended two men, aged 42 and 45 around 10am.
“The two suspects were found in possession of rock, Cat and ecstasy, all valued at R10 100.”

At about 10.30am, the team proceeded to another block of flats on the same street where blocks of Cat, crystal meth and heroin valued at R1.1-m were uncovered before a 39-year-old male flat tenant was apprehended, said Mokheseng.
Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson Sgt Dipuo Ditsheng said the suspects were detained at Kempton Park Police Station for dealing in and possession of drugs.
Kempton Park SAPS commander Brig Samuel Maredi applauded the involved members for uncovering the drugs and ridding the streets of thereof.
