Metro’s boundaries to be discussed at public meeting

Residents are urged to attend the meeting

Residents are invited to attend a public meeting on February 26 where boundary adjustments affecting the municipality will be discussed.

The meeting will be led by the Municipal Demarcation Board (MDB), an independent authority responsible for the changes of boundaries within South African districts and municipalities. It also regulates boundaries of wards within municipalities.

The meeting for the northern region, which includes Kempton Park and Tembisa, will take place on February 26 at 4pm at Rabasotho Community Hall in Tembisa.

Meetings for the southern and eastern region will take place on the same date at the same time at Palm Ridge Community Hall, Palm Ridge, and Tsakane East Community Hall, Tsakane.
