Benoni Flying Squad responded to information on a crime group posted by a tracking company, said W/O Grant Giblin, spokesperson for Benoni Flying Squad.

Crime prevention members on their daily patrols spotted the stolen vehicle at a complex in Rhodesfield. The suspect jumped out of the vehicle when the flying squad arrived.

“The dashboard and panels had already been stripped, possibly by perpetrators looking for tracking units,” said Giblin.
