Tabitha Team donates 612 items
Due to circumstances the funding for the Tabitha Team has stopped.
This year, due to Covid-19 and the lockdown, the Tabitha Team was not able to meet to pack the product of their hard work as is the usual process.
The convener and her family counted, checked and packed the donations for 2019/2020 at home.

Parcels were delivered to 22 homes and organisations.
Six hundred and twelve items were made – 344 jerseys, 66 blankets, 192 small items (beanies, booties, bedsocks) and 10 toys.
“I am so proud of this amazing team of women who use their gifts to bless babies, children and teenagers they will never meet,” said Morag Davis, team facilitator.
“Each item is made with such care and devotion that you can feel the love in each item.”

All donations of wool are greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at Gateway Presbyterian Church on weekday mornings from 9am to 1pm. Call the church office on 011 972 8211.
Due to circumstances, the funding for the Tabitha Team has stopped and they are urgently looking for sponsors to fund the wool purchases to enable them to continue this marvellous outreach to the less fortunate in the community.
