The City of Ekurhuleni announced that the major repairs of the water reticulation network in Kempton Park is nearing completion and is on schedule.

“Technicians and engineers have been working around the clock to ensure work is completed as scheduled,” said CoE spokesperson Themba Gadebe.
Status of the repair works taking place at four sites are as follows:
600 mm, 450 mm and 400 mm valves replacement at the corner of Barbara and Brollo roads is expected to be completed by 11pm.

The installation of new PRV’s at the corner of Kelvin and Western streets in Spartan will be concluded at approximately 3pm.
600 mm valve replacement at the corner of Isando and Foundry roads will also be completed by 11pm.
The installation of a new valve at the corner of Isando and Diesel roads is complete.
