Hannes van der Walt and his wife, Natasja, devote every second weekend with the help of a group volunteers to sort and combine parcels for 60 needy families that form a part of Hoërskool Kempton Park's Broodjieprojek.
This group of volunteers are only a few who attended this Saturday to help sort, combine and present parcels to the 60 needy families that form part of the school's Broodjieprojek. Hannes and Natasja van der Walt (front) thanked the volunteers who offered a hand on their weekends to help them facilitate #Shineon food project. At the back are Peet van Rhyn, Bianka Small, Eugene Small, Carla Pinto-Taylor, Janita Bornman and Cobus Bornman.
These 60 parcels are made up of all the necessities that can feed a family of four to six people for at least a week. They are spread out accordingly in the school’s parking lot for the listed beneficiaries to collect and be recorded on Hannes’ #Shineon database.
