Set to start on August 31, Alpha Online creates a space for people to connect in cyber space and watch a series of episodes to explore the Christian faith together.

“No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: a chance to connect, to talk, and have good conversation,” the society said.

Alpha Online will be focusing on three core principles during this course:

Connect
Alpha is an opportunity to explore life’s big questions together in an open and informal environment.

Watch
The episodes unpack the basics of the Christian faith, addressing questions such as ‘Who is Jesus?’ ‘How can we have faith?’ and ‘How does God guide us?’

Discuss
Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to spark conversation which will be guided by hosts and helpers from your church.

The society guarantees that the course is not limited to a particular denomination.

“In fact, TUC has always been known as a church to welcome participants from any denomination. Participants are required to have access to the internet, e-mail and WhatsApp. If this is a limitation and they would like to participate, please speak to us so that we may help you to find a solution.”
