Church and learners join hands to acknowledge essential workers
The project was aimed at acknowledging essential workers through art.
Gateway Presbyterian Church hosted a community project accommodating Grade Eight to 12 learners wishing to complete their community service.
The project was aimed at acknowledging essential workers through art.
“We as the leadership of Gateway Presbyterian Church aim to be a light in the community,” said organiser and generational Past JP Momberg.
“We knew the learners had to complete the community service and we as the church created this opportunity, which was also perfect timing to thank the essential workers.”
Residents are more than welcome to view the banner thanking workers, which is on display at the church gate on Dann Road. They can also attach a white ribbon in honour of our essential workers.
