Body of man (20) found hanging from park swing

According to Sgt Johanna Madiga, the Norkemp Park SAPS spokesperson, the man was found at the Krokodil Fitness Park.

As the world observes World Suicide Prevention Day, today, September 10, the body of a 20-year-old man was found hanging from a swing at a park in Norkem Park this morning.

No foul play is suspected.

According to Sgt Johanna Madiga, the Norkem Park SAPS spokesperson, the man was found at the Krokodil Fitness Park.

“Electric cables were used. The man’s mother reported to us that he had not returned home last night.”

Madiga said the mother also informed police officers that her son often went missing for long periods.

“She said he had a girlfriend who allegedly also passed away recently.

“It is unlikely that foul play was involved in the case,” she said.

Investigations are underway.
