Harvesting Nations and A Voice to Echo have joined forces to help amputees save money in order to get access to a fitting shoe.
The organisation is calling upon single amputees to come forward for single shoes to be distributed among them.
Lynn Nieman, the founder of A Voice to Echo, with Johnny and Charmaine Peter, founders of Harvesting Nations, combined two of their organisations to bring hope and joy to those in need through events, programmes and the distribution of various donations.
Charmaine said the organisation’s aim is to uplift those in need through events and donations.

“We call on single amputees (adults), organisations that use large puzzles (1 000 and 5 000 pieces) and crèches or institutions that need educational items.
“We give these items to the candidates following inspections and confirmation of their ability to use the donations in the correct manner,” said Charmaine.
“Giving is influenced by a need or a cause. We donate shelter, blankets, food, toys, clothing, educational material, nutritional supplements, tools for skills development and more.
“During the pandemic, we donated sanitisers, masks, posters and flyers. Our mission is to save lives through educating people on the effects of Covid-19, how to protect themselves and provide them with the means to do so.
“We have community members collecting toys, stationery and toiletries for children and teens in preparation of our Christmas events. We are also in need of food during this Covid-19 period, and anything else you would like to donate,” she said.
