One dead, two injured in Edleen collision

One person was reported dead and two others sustained moderate injuries following a vehicle collision in Edleen on Saturday (October 3).

The incident occurred at around 5.33am on the cnr of CR Swart Drive and Green Avenue.

“Reports from the scene indicate that two cars were involved in a collision,” said Netcare 911 media liaison officer Shawn Herbst.

“Medics assessed the patients and found that one person had died and two other patients sustained moderate injuries.

“Once stabilised, the injured patients were transported by private ambulance to a hospital for further treatment.”
