Reader complains about shoddy workmanship

The individuals had already dug around the meter and they said the meter was jammed.

Editor – During the early morning of October 16, I saw people working on my water meter.

I went out to question who they are and what they are doing.

The individuals had already dug around the meter and they said the meter was jammed.

When they left, I inspected the work and realised it was terrible workmanship

I was disappointed and questioned if this is the type of service delivery we can expect from City of Ekurhuleni. We are trying to keep our pavements neat.

I tried to get hold of the person from water and sanitation, but as always, they are not available.

My plea to the metro is to get somebody to come and repair the pavement please.
