CoE warns residents about job scam

The CoE reminded residents that its job application process is not conducted through social media platforms or social media messaging.

The City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) warned residents to beware of job scam messages sent to the public via social media messaging purporting to be from CoE.

The message is an invitation to the recipient to present themselves at the municipal offices in Germiston for medical tests.

The CoE reminded residents that its job application process is not conducted through social media platforms or social media messaging.

The city urged the public to be vigilant.
