UPDATE: Repairs to burst water pipe in Kempton Park reaching completion

The metro said the restoration of the water supply was anticipated for midnight on January 13 but this was delayed due to technical glitches.

The City of Ekurhuleni stated yesterday that the work carried out by the Water and Sanitation Department’s technical teams in Chloorkop was reaching finalisation.

The water tanker stationed on Faraday Street outside the Chloorkop Reservoir and the one in Chloorkop Road will remain in place until the water supply has been completely restored.
