Business seminar hosted in ekasi to empower small businesses

Business seminar hosted in promoting economic development through a community of support for small businesses.

When it comes to beginning a new business, many aspiring entrepreneurs are unsure where to go or what to do.
Africa Business Hub recently sponsored a seminar for aspiring business people in Thembisa and the surrounding areas, to transform their lives by providing them with the tools they need to establish their enterprises.
Africa Business Hub was founded by Lesly Tesetso Nagana with the help of Zanele Dladla, Vernice Bessit, and George Mfana Shikhati to focus on challenges individuals face when starting a new business.
According to Bessit, a public relations specialist for Business Hangout Seminar 2021, the seminar is an annual event.
“We focus on assisting brands to grow and develop by solving operational problems and govern them to maintain the quality of service,” said Bessit.
“The goal is to bring together entrepreneurs in the entertainment, property, information technology, fashion, hospitality, automotive, and network marketing industries, especially those who managed to survive the Covid-19 lockdown with little help from the government and other institutions.
“The seminar also addressed tactics to be utilised by all service providers to keep their company functioning and to provide the best possible service to their customers.
“Businesses, or rather, life in general always has its ups and downs. Members of the community should constantly take the initiative and never give up. During difficult times, they should always learn and adapt to new ways of doing business.
“We should all try to be more like corporate firms, with the highest quality of service and constant growth/improvement of our brands, rather than just being small business minded.
“We believe that, especially in Thembisa, there is always an opportunity for improvement. The township has a great deal of potential to succeed in a variety of fields. To establish and maintain control over our economic circle, we need to work together and support each other’s enterprises.
“As Thembisa’s young adults and Africa’s business builders, we want to make a huge difference in all African businesses, but it all starts with our local community, and we want to make a huge impact on our economy by providing systems and network platforms that connect all African businesses.
“Africa Business Hub essentially seeks to bring Africa together for the sake of the future,” said Bessit.
