Partnership benefits less privileged in Kempton Park

Christian Family Church and Community Development Foundation donated towards Siziwe Children’s Home.

In the spirit of giving and spreading love, Community Development Foundation partnered with Kempton Park’s Christian Family Church’s (CFC) mission department.

Community Development Foundation was founded in 1995 but was only registered in 2000.

Barlin Govender is the founder of the foundation. He is passionate about helping and loves to see the less privileged fed and clothed.

“The foundation has provided homes, blankets, furniture, clothing, cutlery, groceries for orphans, widows, widowers, single abused women and children,” said Govender.

“It is a faith-based organisation that has national and international reach.”

With CFC, the organisation donated towards Siziwe Children’s Home on August 4.

“We donated 100 loaves of bread, soup packs and lamb meat which will be cooked and fed to the children,” explained Govender.

“We also donated over 100 teddy bears, toys, nappies, infant formula milk, wet wipes and cooldrinks to the Princess Alice Home on August 2.”

Govender said the foundation has achieved much since its inception.

“From 2019 the foundation has with its partners fed over 20 000 people. Whatever the needs are, I pray, believe and see God deliver,” shared Govender.

The foundation welcomes donations. Those willing to donate to the cause can contact Govender on 084 659 8772 or at communitydevelopment@gmail.com
