Mr SA doing it for the community
Hannes is also busy with a Mr SA coffee range he is creating with JoRoch Coffee to help raise funds for his NPO, ShineOn.
The Express recently caught up with Mr SA 2020 winner, Hannes van der Walt, to find out what he has been doing since winning the title in November 2020.
He recently joined Mr and Miss Top Majestic Supreme as a judge at the event held at Top Events, in Pomona, on August 21.
Hannes said, “I joined the event as a judge because I love seeing people who believe in themselves and are eager to make a change in their direct community. We are sometimes placed in situations where we are not comfortable but we need to face these as well.”
Hannes is still involved with various charities and helping those that are in need.

He is also busy with a Mr SA coffee range he is creating with JoRoch Coffee to help raise funds for his NPO, ShineOn.
From every sale of his coffee, a percentage goes to his NPO to help it grow.
With his reign as Mr SA almost over, Hannes said his goals for the next year will be to help the new Mr SA, who will be crowned end of November.
Hannes said that he would like to move his NPO to a position where it can assist more people in the community.
