Norkem Park SAPS launches anti-bullying campaign
Members of the Van Riebeeck Park CPF joined members from Norkem Park SAPS for the launch of the anti-bullying campaign at Hoërskool Jeugland.
Norkem Park SAPS members visited schools on September 13 to launch their anti-bullying campaign.
Spokesperson for Norkem Park Police Station Sgt Barbara Ferreira explained they visited Grade Nine learners from Hoërskool Jeugland and Grade Six learners from Westside Primary School.
Members of the Van Riebeeck Park CPF joined the SAPS members for the launch of the programme at Hoërskool Jeugland.

“This group will be a support system for learners bullying other learners. Learners will be able to assist each other in dealing with being victims of bullying,” said Ferreira.
“At Westside Primary School, Const Yolanda Sokoi, with other sector managers, had a school talk against bullying. Sokoi explained the consequences of bullying to the learners.”
