Collaboration leads to suspected robbers’ arrests in Kempton Park
The newly appointed station commander of Kempton Park, Brig Lindani Ndlovu, commended both units.
Members of the Thembisa SAPS Tracing Unit and Kempton Park SAPS Crime Prevention Unit worked together to arrest four suspects.
According to Capt Jethro Mtshali, spokesperson for Kempton Park Police Station, the tracing unit received information of four suspects spotted travelling in two vehicles on September 15.

“A white Toyota Corolla and white Toyota Quantum were seen heading towards Kempton Park. The vehicles were spotted and a chase ensued. The units cornered the suspects on Central Avenue in Kempton Park,” Mtshali said.
“Upon searching the suspects, two firearms and ammunition were found. The suspects were allegedly linked to a business robbery in Thembisa recently.”
