The strike initially started on September 9 at a company in Isando and spread, forcing Pep to close its doors.
Traffic was partially affected on Monument Road on Thursday afternoon, as protestors made their way to the Pep and Pep Home stores at the shopping centre, where demonstrations were held.
Members of the National Transport Movement were among the protestors and copies of their memorandum were handed to shoppers at the centre.

Police, EMPD and security services were on scene to ensure the protest was peaceful. The protestors peacefully made their way out of the centre.
