New commander in Kempton Park
Brig Christopher Lindani Ndlovu is the new station commander at the Kempton Park Police Station.
Members of the Kempton Park Police Station recently welcomed their new station commander, Brig Christopher Lindani Ndlovu.
Ndlovu took up the reigns of being a station commander, as Brig Samuel Maredi, former station commander at the Kempton Park SAPS, has retired.
Being a station commander is nothing new for Ndlovu, as he was a station commander at the Sandringham Police Station since 2004.

His passion for policing is one he grew up with, which was evident when he joined the force when he was 18 years old.
“The local station commander has a National Diploma in Police Administration, BTech degree, Bachelor of Law (LLB) and is busy with a Master’s degree in Law,” said Jethro Mtshali, spokesperson for Kempton Park SAPS.
“He has 33 years’ experience in policing and is eager to make Kempton Park a safer place.”
Mtshali also added that among other positions, Ndlovu was a station head of crime prevention at Johannesburg Central SAPS, group commander for crime prevention at Jeppe SAPS, cluster
Vispol coordinator for Johannesburg North Cluster and area commander for crime prevention in Johannesburg Central SAPS.
“During his introduction, he mentioned he intends to work with all stakeholders to reduce crime in Kempton Park.
“He looks forward to serving and working closely with the community and has a goal to drastically reduce the trio crimes,” added Mtshali.
