Suspects arrested after break in

“The suspects had loaded R185 000 worth of steel re-enforcement. Two unknown suspects got away."

Three men were arrested on September 17 in connection to a robbery at a business on Nuwejaarsvoël Avenue, Birch Acres.

Sgt Barbara Ferreira, spokesperson for Norkem Park SAPS, said at about 20:00 information was received and followed up by private security companies about a robbery in progress.

“Reaction officers from Target Security, Guards Must Be Craze Security and ADT Security reacted to the tip-off and found four suspects loading a truck.”

The suspects tried to flee the scene. Norkem Park SAPS nabbed three of them.
