Friends of Kempton Libraries invite avid readers

The group welcomed the reopening of Birchleigh North Library as well as Bonaero Park Library, which also moved to new premises in the renovated Scout Hall at 19 Dr Malan Street.

The Friends of the Kempton Park Libraries group have been operational for 21 years and members rely on the reading public of Kempton Park for their support.

“We are actively involved in fund-raising, the proceeds of which are given to the libraries to purchase books.

“We are appealing to the public to join our association, especially since Covid-19 has affected all our reading public as well as the libraries,” Jeanette Gunningham said.
