“The event will feature different guest speakers, from life coaches to financial wellness experts. Gender-based violence (GBV) activists of both genders will also be available,” said Hlakola.

The finalist is also in the top seven of the Mrs Universe South Africa 2021 pageant.

The event aims to empower women to find their feet and break away from abusive relationships.

She has previously visited schools in Pretoria and Thembisa during her school motivational tour.

“I have visited several schools for different reasons. I went to Daspoort Secondary School in Pretoria West, Hercules High School, HTS Technical School.

“In Thembisa I went to Welamlambo Primary School. I recently joined the Miss Thembisa team, where I was part of the pre-judging team and was afforded the opportunity to motivate the then Miss Thembisa finalists.”

Her primary school tours focused on motivating Grade Seven learners and preparing them mentally for their high school life.

The venue for the expo and family fun day on December 4 will still be confirmed.

Phumzile Grace Ntshabele, a top seven Mrs Universe South Africa finalist and author of book My Mother Hates Me, will be one of the speakers.
