Holofelo Ya Thuto (HYT) is a community development organisation that is based in Thembisa.
Its objective is to cultivate active and creative minds in high school learners, as well as to instil in them the information and skills necessary for academic achievement.

According to the founders, these career expos provide excellent opportunities for learners to get their resumes in front of businesses and to engage with them.
“Learners should polish and update their resumes, conduct their study on which firms will be attending and what roles they will be recruiting for, prepare elevator speeches and ensure their dress apparel is clean and wrinkle-free.
After all, there are other tools available to learners to help them improve their abilities and feel more prepared,” said Masenya.
