According to Sebenza SAPS spokesperson, Sgt Sharon Tsotsotso, the bodies haven’t been identified.

“One of the bodies is of a male who is estimated to be aged between 40 and 50 years,” said Tsotsotso.

“The deceased man was hit by a vehicle on corner Zuurfontein Road and Oranjerivier Drive at around 20:40 on the evening of January 7, 2019.

“The deceased is an African male and at the time of the accident was wearing a black T-shirt with khaki pants and black sneakers.”

Tsotsotso said the other unidentified body is also of an African male.

“The deceased was found electrocuted at the Westfield substation in Modderfontein,” explained Tsotsotso.

“The age couldn’t be estimated as he was badly injured and the clothes were also burnt. All we have is that the body was discovered at around 10:00 on the morning of September 20, 2019.

“Anyone who has reported or has a missing family member between 2018 and 2019 can contact WO Estey Herbs or myself on 079 6946324 or 011 400 6000.”
