Suspects in court for 2020 robbery
They were initially detained for possession of an unregistered firearm and ammunition.
Two men appeared in the Thembisa Magistrate’s Court on January 24 for a house robbery reported in August, 2020.

They were initially detained for possession of an unregistered firearm and ammunition.
The men were arrested in the beginning of January.
The charges against them will be consolidated in the short- to medium-term.
“When the two were least expecting it, the long arm of the law caught up with them,” said Baba Mpotoane, the Ivory Park SAPS acting station commander.
“Any bail application filed by the two will be met with opposition,” said Mpotoane.
