Ngcukana selected for Valke provincial team

Phalo Ngcukana, whose final trials ended on May 9, was also selected as vice-captain of the team on May 13.

Phalo Ngcukana from Curro Serengeti was selected for the Valke u-16 provincial rugby team.

Ngcukana, whose final trials ended on May 9, was also selected as vice-captain.

The Grade 10 learner, who has been playing Sevens rugby to improve his conditioning since February 2022, was selected as the inside centre.

Ngcukana is excited to get an opportunity to showcase his skills and power at the prestigious Grant Khomo National Rugby Tournament, which is one of the most anticipated tournaments besides Craven Week.

The school, friends, family and coaches are proud of Ngcukana as he is the first learner at Curro Serengeti to take part in the Grant Khomo Week.
