Get to know another local NPO called Mamolele Home and Daycare
The organisation’s mission is to support the underprivileged and give back to the community.
Mamolele Home and Daycare is an NPO which is actively involved in community development activities.

The organisation was established in 2018 and is located at 1792 Bluegum Street, Ebony Park Ext Three.
The founder, Raisibe Matsemela, said the home assists residents in the wider Ivory Park and Midrand districts.
“We specifically look after older people, people with various disabilities, families with children and orphans.
“Youth upskilling and training programs, counselling for teenage mothers, counselling for GBV victims, programs for art and culture, sports and fitness training for women and children and welfare programs are also available.
“We provide substance addiction counselling and direct people who require it to appropriate agencies and departments. We provide homework help and after-school tutoring to nearby school children.”
According to Matsemela, the campaign was driven by the fact that her community has a great demand for the services they provide.
“The mission of assisting those in need is very difficult because of the lack of resources and money on the one hand, but it is also highly exciting for compassionate people for obvious moral reasons as well as our civic activities.”

Matsemela added that the community can assist her by recognising those who require assistance.
“Community members with means can contribute to our organisation in the form of money, clothing or other tangible items of common use and items for people with specific disabilities.
Alternatively, residents can provide expert support to our organisation including psychologists, nurses and lawyers.
“My message to the community is to join our effort. Let’s work together to identify the members of our community who are facing existential risks.
“Then let’s do everything we can to help them regain a fair standard of living.”
