Kim Coetzee, Kempton Park CPF public relations officer, shares a few tips on the correct procedure for getting a police vehicle.
“Firstly, log a call through 10111 and record the IR number,” said Coetzee.
“Quote the IR number when calling for assistance on any of the CPF crime groups.
“With the IR number SAPS management can then follow up on the exact times, to who the complaint was given to the result through actual recordings.
“In life and death situations where backup is needed urgently please ensure that 10111 is included in the calls for SAPS assistance.”
