Sanca Eastern Gauteng is a non-profit organisation that works hard throughout each year to fight against drugs and substance abuse in Boksburg and surroundings, to improve the lives of affected individuals and their families.
Windmill Park is one of the city’s townships said to be blighted with social ills including drugs and other substance abuse.
Hence the organisation is planning to help tackle the problem in the area.
Working in partnership with a team of community groups, the non-profit organisation is planning to hold the event at Jaffies Park, and will run from 09:00 until 14:00.
The main objective is to discourage residents, youngsters in particular, to refrain from using drugs and substance abuse, as these practices have devastating effects on the users, their families and the community at large.
