Local Grade ones excited for first day at school

The Express visited Birch Acres Primary School as Grade One learners took the first step towards their future.

Mom Eulenda Makaung was excited to have her son Nhlamulo Makaung start Grade One at Birch Acres Primary School. Nhlamulo wants to be a policeman when he grows up.

Parents and learners were excited to start the new academic year as inland schools welcomed learners back on January 11.
