Your new family pet is waiting at Kempton Park’s SPCA

The local society reserves the right to reject or refuse the application.

These are the steps to follow to adopt a pet at the Kempton Park SPCA:

1. Choose an animal and fall in love.

2. Complete the application to adopt the animal. Pay R200 (non-refundable) deposit. You need a copy of your ID and proof of residence, (as well as a letter from your landlord or body corporate if applicable).

This 10-week-old male domestic short-haired kitten cannot wait to meet his new family.

3. The staff will inspect your application.

4. The adoption process may take up to seven working days to complete, and pre-homes are only conducted between 10:00 and 14:00, Monday to Friday.

5. On approval of the application and pre-home inspection, the balance of the adoption fee is payable.

This young adult female domestic short-haired cat is ready for her next adventure.

6. The animal will go for sterilisation as soon as there is space at the vet after approval of the home inspection.

7. Take your fur-baby home.

Adoption fees:

This adult male terrier-cross is in search of the perfect forever home.

• Dog: R1 300 (Includes sterilisation, micro-chip, first vaccination, first de-wormer and tag).

• Cat: R950 (Includes sterilisation, first vaccination, first de-wormer and micro-chip optional).
