Local author Vonisani Mabunda aspires to bring together authors and readers for fascinating dialogues about literature and life.

Mabunda is a social political poet who has published 25 poems under the title ‘No Apology’.
However, the majority of Mabunda’s works fall within the categories of romance, love, and relationships.
In this genre he has written 63 poetry volumes with the goal of healing the heart, mending strained relationships, restoring faith, and stabilising families.
“Science fiction, historical documentaries, stories that teach about culture, how particular people behave, and real true stories that bring people together are all things that intrigue me.
“A human mind is so busy that billions of ideas and stories pass by every single second, and we choose which to tell.

“Because I have an eye for art, I am constantly looking for inspiration wherever I am.
“If my inner voice tells me to take a note of something, I do so right away in my small note book or on my smartphone. It isn’t until I go back over my notes that I realise I have actually written a story.
“As a result of our own decisions and deeds, I firmly believe that every one of our stories was already written before we were even born.
“Stories occur constantly and everywhere at any time, and there are a great number of them.

“The voice of logic is what we are. I would welcome the chance to play a part in the transformation and evolution of the film business, which would involve the introduction of fresh perspectives and ideas from newcomers, which would spur development and advancement. Change, however, worries people as usual,” said Mabunda.
